Brian Hedgepeth, owner and principal of Pear Builders, has spent his career honing skills that now allow him to pursue a passion of working with - and more importantly - working FOR clients with whom he has a genuine and mutually rewarding relationship.

Perrin Hedgepeth
Perrin has always loved every aspect of residential construction, from new builds to the romance of bringing a property to life in renovations.
With 20+ years of experience in residential building, design and real estate, Perrin brings thoughtful perspective and creativity to any project.
When Perrin is not researching design ideas and actively working in real estate, she enjoys time with family and friends.
Brian Hedgepeth
A native of the Charlotte area, Brian’s entire career has been spent in the construction industry. Brian serves as Principal for Pear Builders which he established based on 20+ years experience building luxury custom homes across the Carolinas. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Science and Management from Clemson University and holds an Associate Construction (AC) designation with the American Institute of Constructors. Brian’s main priority is to build long-lasting relationships with his clients, partners and trade contractors. In his own words, “Everyone says they build high quality homes, but what really matters is how you treat people and doing what you say you are going to do.”
Will Allen
Will’s passion for custom homebuilding began at age three with woodworking in his Charlotte home. He earned his Construction Management degree from Appalachian State and has spent most of his life on construction sites, drawn to the satisfaction of witnessing raw materials turn into objects of beauty with the application of highly skilled craftsmanship. As Project Manager at Pear Builders, Will uses his strong organizational & communication skills to manage the complexities of building fine custom residences. He combines the detail-oriented skill from his woodworking passion with a love of collaborating with diverse clients to realize their vision of a perfect home.
Outside of work, Will enjoys quail hunting, fly fishing, and spending time with his wife, Abby, and their pets, or enjoying a good brunch with friends and family.
Kevin Milbredt
Kevin is driven by a lifelong passion for witnessing the creation of something exceptional. After earning a BS in Industrial Technology from Appalachian state, Kevin dove straight into his nearly 30-year career of building homes. He brings a deep appreciation for diversity in architecture and an unwavering commitment to excellence, ensuring that every detail of building high-end custom residences is handled with care. A skilled communicator and collaborator, Kevin excels at guiding clients, architects, and tradespeople toward a shared vision. He always considers how clients will live in their homes, which helps guide critical decisions throughout the building process. At Pear Builders, Kevin looks forward to delivering extraordinary residences that exceed expectations.
When he's not on the jobsite, you can find Kevin enjoying the great outdoors and spending time in the mountains with family and friends.
Debbie Reaburn
Debbie is a seasoned finance professional with deep expertise in the homebuilding industry. As Accounting Manager at Pear Builders, she brings a wealth of financial knowledge, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. Having built her own home, Debbie has firsthand experience with the concerns and priorities of homeowners, allowing her to efficiently manage her responsibilities, anticipate the needs of the business and bring forth effective solutions. Debbie is truly passionate about her work,, taking pride in watching Pear Builders' custom homes come to life and is excited to be part of such a highly skilled and respected team.
Moose Hedgepeth
CFO (Chief Food Officer)
Mr. Moose Hedgepeth, who is a Charlotte native, joined the family via a Southpark Mall animal adoption event. Moose is known for exquisite taste for the finer things in life and has a remarkable eye for finding the cushiest spot for a nap. As a Labrador/ boxer mix his true love is food, making him exceptional at his position of CFO, Chief Food Officer. Moose is friendly, upbeat, and loves meeting and collaborating with clients to help ensure their needs are being met – especially in the kitchen. When not in the office, he enjoys short walks, naps in the sun and is always up for a good brunch with friends and family.
Miss Murphy Hedgepeth
CBO (Chief Bark Officer)
Miss Murphy got her start in West Virginia and shortly after moved with her siblings to Charlotte. Once the Hedgepeth family saw those velvet ears and doe eyes, we knew she was meant to join our family. As a Redbone Coonhound/Treeing Walker Hound, Murphy is fiercely independent but always eager to learn anything new. She’s a true “self-starter” and highly energetic - which makes her ready to enthusiastically jump into any project. When not in the office, she enjoys long walks on the greenway, happy hours at Skiptown, and snuggling with Hedgepeth family members.
